TALLAPOOSA CO., AL (WSFA) - The Tallapoosa County Sheriff's Office is investigating an incident in which an inmate at the Tallapoosa County Jail was found to be in possession of a handgun. According to Sheriff Jimmy Abbett, 20-year-old Daquan Denzell Sheeley, of Jacksons Gap, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with promoting prison contraband in the first degree.
